Owner's Representation & Construction Management ยท Est. 2021

You're not hiring
a body.
You're hiring the team.

Renewtables represents project owners through every phase of construction on solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects โ€” backed by a full team's knowledge and coordination, not a single placement standing on-site alone.

“

Most firms sell you a recruiter's placement. We put our whole team's experience behind every project we represent.

What we do

Representation on the ground, judgment from the whole team

We sit on the owner's side of the table from notice-to-proceed through commissioning โ€” watching schedule, budget, and quality the way an owner would if they had the time and the field experience to do it themselves.

01

Owner's Representation

We act as your eyes, ears, and authority on site โ€” reviewing EPC performance, protecting your interests in every decision, and keeping you informed in terms that matter to an owner, not just a contractor.

02

Construction Management

Day-to-day oversight of schedule, budget, quality, and safety across the build โ€” coordinating trades, tracking milestones, and resolving field issues before they become change orders.

03

Commissioning & Closeout Support

Punch-list management and substantial completion support to get a project from mechanically complete to fully performing.

04

Permitting & Interconnection Coordination

Tracking permitting and utility interconnection milestones alongside construction progress, so approvals don't become the critical path.

How we operate

Safety runs through every deliverable, not around it

On a solar, wind, or storage site, safety and performance are the same conversation. We hold field safety to the same standard as schedule and budget โ€” not a checkbox behind them.

5-Year
Clean Workers' Comp History

Based on our current insurance loss-run history: zero workers' compensation, general liability, or E&O claims since 2021.

01

OSHA 30 Required, Company-Wide

Every member of our team is required to hold OSHA 30 certification โ€” not just the principals โ€” and we hold every contractor we oversee to that same standard on site.

02

Field Discipline Built on Site Experience and Military Leadership

20 years managing construction sites across the renewable energy industry, paired with a Marine Corps Combat Engineer Officer's approach to leading infrastructure operations, shapes how our sites are run: plan the work, brief the hazards, verify before you proceed.

03

Safety Weighed Like Budget and Schedule

We treat safety performance as a core project metric on every job we manage โ€” reviewed with the same rigor as cost and schedule, not addressed after the fact.

04

A Culture, Not Just a Checklist

We push contractors on our sites to run effective near-miss reporting programs, not just incident logs โ€” and we help host safety lunches and giveaways to recognize crews with strong safety track records.

Who we are

A small firm, built to act like an extension of your team

Renewtables is led by the two people who answer the phone when something on site needs a decision.

Courtney Newton Chief Executive Officer

Courtney founded Renewtables in 2021 to give project owners a better option than a single staffing placement โ€” a way to put vetted, proven professionals and a full team's experience behind their construction. She brings 10 years in the renewable energy industry, including several project management roles overseeing budget and schedule on large-scale utility projects, and holds a B.A. in Business Administration.

OSHA 30
Gary Newton President of Construction

Gary is a 20-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as a Combat Engineer Officer, leading construction and infrastructure operations under some of the most demanding conditions there are. He has spent 20 years in the renewable energy industry and holds a B.S. in Electrical Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, bringing that same discipline and field leadership to every project Renewtables represents.
